Performance
Based on current press releases from Toyota, the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid features a 2.0L four-cylinder gas engine to drive the front axle, and two electric motor-generators to power the rear. This all-wheel powertrain is standard across all five trim levels and can produce a total of 194 HP on the road. The EPA hasn't had a chance to put the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid to the efficiency test as of yet, but the current estimate is a combined rating of 37 MPG.
