Certification
In order to become Certified and an entry into the Certified Pre-Owned program, a Toyota vehicle must pass a rigorous series of tests. These standards apply from the time our Toyota dealership serving Scranton, PA acquired the vehicle through the final sale. Each candidate for certification must:
- Be up to and including six years old
- Have 85,000 miles or less on the odometer
- Include a CARFAX Vehicle History Report
Finally, the thorough 160-point inspection that is completed by a Toyota Certified mechanic covers the vehicle’s mechanical functions, its interior, and its exterior.
Additional Benefits
In addition to the peace of mind that you get with a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota car, the vehicle also comes with additional benefits. Starting off, the 12-month/12,000-mile limited comprehensive warranty covers any repair or replacement of components which fail under normal use due to defect in materials or workmanship.
On top of this is the seven-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty. You also get one year of complimentary roadside assistance, which covers services including:
- Flat tires
- Lockout services
- Jump starts
- Fuel delivery up to three gallons
