Engine Oil
First, remove the dipstick. Wipe it clean and reinsert it so you can get a fresh gauge. The range that you’re looking for is marked on the dipstick. If the oil level is too low, you can replenish the supply yourself or you can take your car to an auto shop.
Check your owner’s manual to learn how often you should change the oil.
Brake Fluid
Brake fluid is often easy to check because it’s normally stored in a clear container. If you notice that the level is too low, you should speak with a mechanic. You might be dealing with a leak.
Coolant
Anyone who has ever driven a car without air conditioning during a hot summer understands the importance of coolant. You should be able to check the level easily.
Power Steering Fluid
