If you’ve been doing research about Toyota SUVs for sale, you’ve probably come across some online articles about one of the most anticipated Toyota cars of the year, the 2017 Toyota C-HR. According to the Toyota brand, the ā€œC-HRā€ in the vehicle’s name stands for ā€œCoupe High Rider.ā€ While that may lead you to think of a sporty two-door coupe that has the styling touches you’ve come to expect from the Toyota brand, the new Toyota C-HR is actually a compact, five-door crossover.

While the Toyota brand has long been known for producing cars that have a relatively conservative look, the Toyota C-HR breaks from this long-standing tradition. The crossover’s rear door handles are worked into the vehicle’s C-pillars, for instance. The cabin has an unmistakable diamond theme that’s evident on the ventilation controls, the headliner embossing, and even the door panels. While the styling of the Toyota C-HR presents a new twist for a Toyota vehicle, you’ll still find the digital clock that the Toyota brand has put in almost every vehicle it has manufactured over the last three decades on the crossover’s dashboard.

In the United States, the Toyota C-HR will be powered by a two-liter, four-cylinder engine. This engine will be paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission which works like a conventional automatic transmission. The lower trims will have 19-inch wheels and the higher trims will be outfitted with 21-inch wheels. Every trim will come with all-terrain tires.

While we don’t have the new Toyota C-HR at our Wilkes-Barre, PA Toyota dealership just yet, we’re expecting it to arrive sometime during the spring of 2017. When it gets here, we don’t think it’ll take too long for the 2017 Toyota C-HR to become one of the most popular Toyota cars in our new vehicle inventory.

Remember to check our blog on a regular basis to learn more about the upcoming arrival of the 2017 Toyota C-HR. We’ll let you know when the crossover is scheduled to arrive at MotorWorld Toyota and share more information about this exciting crossover as it becomes available.
