Everyone at our Toyota dealership in Wilkes-Barre, PA was thrilled when we had the opportunity to donate $15,000 to our local police department to help cover the costs for the department’s new member. We’re also grateful that we get to host a contest to come up with a name for the dog that’s going to work to keep our community safe right alongside other law enforcement personnel.
To enter our K9 naming contest, navigate to our website’s homepage and click the “New Police K9 Needs a Name” banner in the slider at the top of the page. You’ll then need to enter a name for the dog, your first and last names, and your email address. You have until 11:59pm on September 16, 2016 to submit your entry.
An internal panel of law enforcement officials will choose the top four names once the deadline for submissions has passed. Marcella Lendacky, our local police chief, will then pick the dog’s name from the final four suggested names.
The people who submitted the top four names will each receive a Visa gift card. Here is the breakdown of prizes you can win:
