Chief Marcella Lendacky has chosen the name Chase for the new
Wilkes-Barre Police K9!
Congratulations to Seth Gulich from Tunkhannock, Pa.,
who was the grand prize winner of the MotorWorld Group's naming contest. Gulich was
randomly selected from all contestants who submitted “Chase.” He will receive
$500 in Visa gift cards.
The MotorWorld Group K9 Naming Contest launched in early August. In July, MotorWorld Toyota donated $15,000 to the Wilkes-Barre Police Department to secure a new police dog for the K9 unit.
