Toyota Car News for the LA Auto Show

The LA Auto Show finished up early in December, and we have the latest news to share. At MotorWorld Toyota in Wilkes-Barre, we’re happy to carry both new and pre-owned Toyota cars, like the 2019 Toyota Camry and the 2019 Toyota Corolla.

The 2019 Toyota Prius and the 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid debuted at the show, and here’s a look at what’s new.

The 2019 Toyota Prius

The 2019 Toyota Prius is sleek and stylish, both on the exterior and in the interior, and continues the lineup’s tradition of dependability and safety.

But what’s really getting people talking: this updated model has a new AWD-e system, which helps with traction and gives stellar fuel efficiency (as if the Toyota Prius didn’t already have it). Estimates of fuel economy numbers are currently 50 MPG combined.

The 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid

The 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid is an all-new model for Toyota car lovers to fawn over. This car is expected to get at least 50 MPG combined for fuel economy, the best the model has ever seen.

The Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive that’s included in the Toyota Prius is now in this model as well. It comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0 system, as well as connectivity with Apple CarPlay via Entune™ 3.0 Audio. The engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that puts out 121 horsepower.

The 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid is expected to be released next spring.
